“The Weekly Advocate” is a very serious name for what is a very casual thing. I like the name, but this is no newspaper or prestigious publication. This name was open, and I thought it sounded interesting.
It is one person’s thoughts written and posted in an essay format. It is my belief that the expression of one’s opinions is not merely a right, but a duty. I am writing these posts not because I am special and my opinions deserve special attention, but because I am not, and they don’t. Rather, I see publishing these opinions as a faithful exercise of my civic duty. Not everyone has an obligation to make a blog, but everybody has the obligation to make their insight known in one way or another.
Every human being’s thoughts and opinions, right or wrong, have value. Not to share them is to rob the world of your insight. It is with this thought in mind that I, humble creature that I am, make this website. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to discuss those opinions further.
